Let's be honest, I do not believe there was any true ill intent giving this bad man some gold to feed his loved ones. Sure there are different steps that could have been taken so he could transfer money directly but it's also possible he wasn't thinking of these steps at the moment. Let's not try and paint him as this bad individual who"inderectly affirms" these things when we don't know all the details of the narrative. I am giving this man the benefit of the doubt and that I think you should also for helping out this bad guy in need.
Im from Venezuela and I been playins OSRS a year and a half, most of the ppl who play the game dont play for feed his household they simply sell gp for purchase cellphones, shoes, stuff like that... My very first acc got ban couple of months ago but with this acc literally I could assist my family A LOT!!! And I dont repent get hold of it I know is against the jagex rules... Now I got another acc almost max cb and trying to perform cox and tob:D... Dont all of venezuelans only farm or use bot on plants that are green or revenants simply saying LOL.
It does not really matter, it's sucks they're in the situation but it doesn't offer you the right to trample over others or to violate rules. Jagex has the right to make it and anybody would do it if it meant success (nobody would starve over promoting runescape gold) but you're liable for your actions. If you violate your account and the rules gets terminated that a part of the game you are playing. So I really don't think an exception should be made.Interesting that he was not keen to share exactly what the cut ratio is between him and the worker. I'd definitely still think about this exploitation if the owners are taking over 50%. Indeed it's supposedly giving them an chance to make decent money but the fact he wasn't willing to share the% cut likely means the owners are benefiting more for just giving the service.
I cringed when he began talking about how he began the ceremony to provide an opportunity for people in need, as if his primary motivation wasn't self-gain from the start. There's a lot of douchebaggery I see in Runescape from gamers living in 1st worlds scaremongering about Venezuelans and thinking little of this, but I understand the kind of situation they're in and dont fuss over it.And if Jagex bans some of em it's pretty much their match so of course they could do that.I just do not care to cease their way of creating a living. That is far different from men and women in 1st worlds who bot and scam or accounts share for absolute pleasure.I do not live in Venezuela, but I do live in a 3rd world nation. I just need to add that the economic situation in Venezuela is much worse than where I reside (Nicaragua).
