Except that's option 3 accomplishes it. He doesn't care what anyone thinks and he needs an item sink, he's made that quite plain to see. That's why the fee is 5 percent, so nobody votes for it. It'll split the vote between 3 and 4 earning 2 triumph though two will be unpopular as fuck. That way they do not have to dismiss the vote (even though they said they would if they had to, aka anything other than 2 winning). With the hatred from OSRS to RS3, you are bound to get some reactions from the community, its as simple as that. And I feel about the OSRS community? Well I can view them as individuals who cant handle change and stick to their youth game eternally, idiots who care about shitting on the more recent version of RuneScape compared to the model that they favor, but thats just fucking dumb. The poor overshadow the good individuals, although both communities may be fucking tiring sometimes. Even tough the vast majority of the hate comes from the OSRS side, I do not really care.
I have played since 07 and that I enjoy the contemporary game to this day. I think OSRS is the most popular for the pking, which I really was a lover of (since I snapped at it). Meanwhile, thanks to eoc, I've defeated the directors that kicked my butt all those years back and I have had my revenge. Not just that but I'm endgame workable which I never believed in a million years I would reach especially with how slow development sensed, which I think remains a feature/issue (depending on you) of OSRS. I try not to generalize, so despite all the"OSRS players despise RS3 and everybody and everything who performs it" speak, I just consider them the hateful, divisive part of the playerbase that permeates every game.
And I love to think that people just prefer one match over another and that fine. I can see why this is an attractive aspect for people. Hell, I have had my present'primary account's on OS for a few decades, and while I am not a super efficient player I also dont waste time per se, and just recently am I studying end game pvm like Raids and soloing GWD efficiently. Personally, the very fact that it is taken sooooo long to get my account to this stage makes me quite proud of myselfand today when I could finish some high-quality pvm, it seems really great. But again, I can see the appeal to hitting endgame.
Because of the introduction of tier gear, the gear that is older got a lot cheaper. Bandos used to be best in slot, however the price eventually went down to the point I could manage it with my little money stack along with level 85 weapons which had grade 70 damage but grade 90 precision. Death was a lot less punishing and you did not risk losing everything if you could not return to your grave in time, and while shield prayers don't do 100% damage decrease anymore unless dedication is used, abilities only really opened up the match for me because it became about"how much food could I stuff in my inventory while I beg for my own weapons to hit and also the boss to splash" and more actual mechanics like utilizing the right ability/prayer at the right time in the right location. Though I started out using legacy (old school style battle ), I immediately corrected to revolution (RuneScape automatically uses skills for you) then got used to activating them manually.
