I would say no, they just have to do a better job of making certain Madden NFL players stick out. The superstar skills are bothersome especially the WR af, CB, and Edge one. It's pretty retarded that an edge Madden NFL player with a certain ability will literally drop the block immediately every play till you do whatever needs to be done to get it to be lost by them. Same with receivers that can use superb agility and speed to break away in the corner on a route or a curl. It creates Madden NFL not as a football game and more like an arcade game. In addition you have corners knocking every ball which comes their way and linebackers making tackles or catches out that nobody would ever be able to make. The superstar skills are like something youd found in road ball.
I hope they are balanced in 21. Some abilities were far too OP. Escape Artist and pash Rush Elite were sport breaking. I think a great deal of the abilities made some ratings and traits entirely irrelevant. I think that any skills that impact speed or agility should be scrapped. Possibly even stuff that should probably be ascertained with an existing rating or trait...like pass and jukebox dash skills. The downside to this would be that you are pretty much left with QB skills. I could be wrong about that making Madden NFL better.EA is the most sh*t company. Nothing but money grabbers who do not give 2 about their fan base. To only get 2 draft packs for being routine is BS. To attempt and sell those"two for 1 draft pack" knowing you're gonna pull nothing but silvers and 86s. And above all else you release particular challenges to perform throughout the draft where you can get 86-98 draft Madden NFL player and that I pull 4 directly 86s?! Absolutely devastating. Don't get me started online gameplay. Am I going to play madden again? Absolutely. Can I fall for EAs money grabbing schemes and gameplay? Absolutely. Can I be really a clown for ranting but nevertheless giving EA exactly what they want? Absolutely.
Trust me, you don't desire 2k to a football game with the rights. The servers are horrible. Every match you get kicked out of my team and get a loss. It is like DC glitch however 10x worse. 2k was so poor, it was the reason I changed to madden. And contracts. And they are possibly even more money. 40k VC to get a sweatshirt? Really? We shit on EA a lot but allow me to tell you from experience, I'd rather have EA compared to 2k.
The truth is, shit that is cosmetic is sold by 2K. Just playing career mode will get you more than sufficient coins to remain boosted, although They've boosts it is possible to buy. Additionally, while they have a coin strategy to level up, you have to mill to unlock the upgrade slots so that you can't simply buy your way to dominance once you get beyond the first few upgrades. About the only advantage cash gives is if you preorder and get you can upgrade your Madden NFL player to ~80 something. But beyond that you need to play to improve.
