Got ta wonder when Zion is walking in 86 19, a your 60 as a first round pick. 60 seems well off where it should be contemplating although I'm not saying you should be 86 as hes special. No I get it and it is not aimed at either of you. It's only a game model that is crappy. To create the single player game unplayable with them is just trash, although microstransactions arent going away obviously.
I haven't spent a penny to perform NBA 2K20. I got it for free because of PSPlus and I've gotten enough VC to get to 73 Total, the 6th guy on the depth chart, some cool cartoons, an okay-looking outfit to the Neighborhood, along with a sharp suit for gameday. I'm about 18 games in my rookie season.Its supost for a NBA experience. Do you believe the best draft picks are currently sitting from the first two games? Or having to scrub together 6 matches worth of salary to buy a suit? If they want to transaction NBA 2K21, sure, nice okay, do it. Only find a more creative way than paywalling the single player game. You shouldnt have to grind as a first round pick, they know it too since the bloke Axel Walden does not have stats.
Maybe I'm playing devil's advocate here, but I always have the impression that the only reason we are at the draft is because of our name rather than because of our abilities. I am unsure how the story goes in the previous NBA games as 2K20 is my very first one because 2K16, but I believe that the setup is completely fine. Not many rookies are meant to blow off the competition whenever they set foot on the ground. It takes a couple of seasons. Considering I'm not even halfway through the first season and I have gotten 15 minutes of playing time each game before I even made it into 6th man up I'd say I'm doing fine for myself.
I fully understand where you're coming from, however. that may have something to do with how I do not need high 19, I play center. I get what your saying but at the story your a great player who's team is all but ensured a championship, you stop (Yada Yada) and essentially end up with nothing. Your agent then reaffirms about 10 times how much work you need to do to get drafted at all, let alone round and how easy its going to be for the Frenchman.
Like you said, my issue isn't that you start of crap players will need to grow. But when your scoring 40 points NBA 2K21 and you stumble into the nba first round and cant even create an open 3 as a shooter because your 60 ranked theres definitely something wrong there. You are intentionally hamstringed by them so you have to purchase VC. If you perform far and just spend what you get you'd need to invest two seasons on career mode before you could even consider playing online with friends. (Then you would nevertheless be a brown shirt as you could not afford clothes).
