Other cases (Not my choices): Grand Exchange (Buy/sell). Guild. Rest feature. I'm so glad Jagex put this in. Waiting for run energy to recharge when you hit zero conduct energy was always extremely slow. As a matter of fact, hitting zero run energy was a strong driver for completing the Lumbridge/Draynor diary. I wanted the 50% energy increase that it gave. When I reached Lumdridge Explorer's ring level 1, it was so good getting that one run energy boost each day! Oh, how I wish I started playing Runescape after the Rest Feature was introduced.
I was playing Runescape starting several months ago (since December 2008) with a high-speed online link, without any lag. Then beginning September 2009, I've since undergone several occasions of lag (that every lasted a couple of seconds). On a few more rare events, the lag turned into a full freeze or auto-log-out. Other Runescape players told me lag has become because of the number of people logging in to access the brand new change-your-Runescape-name feature.
1) Has anyone else noticed a huge increase in lag beginning September 2009? I used to constantly play Runescape in regular-graphics style (SD) and then switched to high-graphics style (HD). I made the change to HD about April, so that I had been playing HD lag-free for a while.
2) Has anybody played HD with lag, then changed to SD and discovered SD lag-free? I enjoy the HD, but I don't mind switching to SD for a while if that will get rid of the lag.
Back when Clue Scrolls were first introduced to Runescape, many users flocked around hoping for a precious benefit, killing and murdering, turning down other activities to perform what is known today as Treasure Trails. However, to this day they've been something challenging and fun to do to your own Runescape Community. It is a game of chance, of course - but is getting rich fast worth all of the hours spent, when you could use the exact same time for continuous pay skilling?
