Well what can you expect to discharge a 50 min read on what is gonna move lol? This can be an overhaul not a brand new game it's clear that they called it an UPDATE! I assume so but I just watched ps4 and pc on the Japanese trailer. Essentially, if you prefer said items, keep them with you. If there are additional items you want, consider selling to purchase other items. Even though you have a billion Meseta so may as well keep them.
I kinda love that PSO2 is getting a"A Realm Reborn" level upgrade, at the same time that FFXIV is reworking it is ARR to be user-friendly. So in fact, this is a new game that shares characters and their cosmetics. I wonder how weapons/units will stack up between the matches. The sign you will not be able to equip some till you get to a specific level means that gear you get in PSO2 will be relevant to NGS, at least at the early phases of the match. Am playing UK without any problems. In the event you want in sport purchases with actual money it's a pain but other than that not region locked at all.
Everyone's upset their"progress" won't move over, but nobody seems to understand that NGS is a wholly different game mode from PSO2 as we currently know it. We do not even know whether the skill trees or pool of available skills are 1:1 involving PSO2 and NGS. They probably aren't. This is similar to being mad your Xenoblade Chronicles progress does not transfer over to Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It's an entirely different game, with an entirely different story, with an entirely different world. They have comparable combat systems with similar leveling mechanisms, but they are not similar.
