Id seriously suggest checking out OSRS. I believe the reason is the customer for OSRS is just simply too garbage and requires way more work. Hell.
It is way better than OSBuddy. It has all of the features of RSBuddy without having to pay for whatever.
Just a note to anyone that may want to get into OSRS, utilize RuneLite. It is way better than OSBuddy. It has all the qualities of RSBuddy without having to pay for whatever.
Runelite is an excellent open-source customer that is officially supported. 90% of the PC players utilize it and that includes most of the developers.
Merely to explain, RS3 can't use 3rd party clients, it is OSRS that uses runelite and RSBuddy It leaves the game at higher resolutions, has a further view space, customizable UI/themes, custom plugins, custom hotkeys, advanced stat/goal tracking, slayer-monster monitoring, and a bunch of similar features Runescape gamers:"Only one decade of my character is practically ready to PVP! All I had to do was click this item every few minutes to get 10,000 hours, it was awesome!"
It's just that after updates such as EoC, multiple graphics updates, and a completely different native client it has changed a whole lot.
OSRS is a fork of the original 2007 version. It has received a lot of o upgrades also, but it's much closer to old Runescape compared to RS3.
You are likely to need to play Old School RuneScape if you would like to re-live your youth. RS3 has MTX out the wazoo and it constantly bombards you with all"buy stuff!" It's most likely one of the most MTX riddled matches of all time.
Oh my...I've more hours at Runescape (the OG) than every other game I've played (besides 1) but that I have not even thought about logging in for several decades. Is this the first game, only on Steam? The 07Scape variant should come to steam later.
