The worst thing is a long time ago sports games have been some of the best made games. NHL94 was an insanely great sport only generally. Many of the 90's Madden games were very fun. Going back even farther RBI Baseball and Tecmo Bowl were great matches. They were the kind of games everyone played not just sports fans.
I knew lots of people who got to sports not because they loved sports but because they loved video games, and they ended up playing games since they were fun. Personally, I got into hockey because of NHL94. I had been a sports enthusiast but not a baseball enthusiast. That game was the primary reason I got into baseball including playing with it. I couldn't imagine anyone getting into soccer due to Madden.
The team owners are those who really must understand that. They hold the key to the licensing, however the vast bulk of the owners have no comprehension of the ability of video games. Let's face it, most are just too old. Yet maybe continued backlash will be something the listen to.I remember the day the disk stopped functioning. It was just like losing a pet.I also remember the day I discovered a booger on the read-side. I gently scraped off it and it worked .NHL94 is in a class by itself in my own view. One of the greatest games ever.You check out Wasteland 3 yet? I'm not much one for turn based combat, but it is dope. Among those GOAT games.
I spent almost 20 hours in the first place in the game just trying to arrange my ideal celebration.I have friends that play Madden and NBA 2K every year. They are not really spent in the gaming culture such as a good deal people are so that they do not even see testimonials or threads similar to this.
