Despite the fluffy nature of this sport, this community can be incredibly rabid when something that they do not like gets published. I report those things as I view them, but I see the poisonous posters continue to post here and wonder if it even does any good. Like I reported somebody who had been all over a thread telling people to eff off and things a couple weeks back and they had been posting the next day just like nothing had happened. You can not ever make those sorts of people/situations move away, but you can try to lessen the possibility of these happening by structuring things and rules around them clearly.
The other solution is a broader flair approach, but people browsing reddit via specific means do not even see dash unless they expressly allow it so you'd need to accept that was faulty from the get-go.
Finally I do not think any specific subjects or articles within this sub need to be prohibited. I think they will need to be ordered in a way that users who don't need to see them can choose to filter them out or ignore them.
I feel like combining codes and questions could be a little bit of a mess, personally. If you do see codes from the questions thread they can be reported and we could clean them up when we view it. Also, as for information events, we do sticky Update Megathreads when they come about. Can there possibly be more like pre-update stickies/update statements? I believe so. But honestly, I'd personally like to free a sticky slot eventually.
As for how I would like the subreddit moderatedI wish to keep it relatively light-hearted. I personally wouldn't mind more or less rules. I simply don't need it to be too strict, I do not think stringent principles apply well to some typical Animal Crossing subreddit.

First, toxicity is something I absolutely do not want . I'm going to be entirely honest here though, I understand your second point. And I will admit for awhile, there has not been a lot of active moderation here, only being 1-2 active mods at some points. Lately I sat down for some time and caught up together with the monstrously deep stride. This is the reason I'd love to have some new moderators, so the busy ones do not get burned out and items fall behind again. So pleasekeep reporting. And if it's something you're interested in, I encourage you to apply for moderator yourself.
