I didn't actually have a set goal once I embarked on this trip -- if you read my Madden NFL 21 article, you will know I did lots of research on tactics in order to better understand the sport so that I could win an online game -- but it's not like I've never won in a FIFA game before; I just wanted to get improved.
I'd played a bit of Ultimate Team at FIFA 21 when I decided to put together this article, but my situation was dire. The primary problem I had was my Squad: I was operating -- or, if that's, crawling -- together with 34-year-old Raúl García as my striker, and I'd just over 50 Chemistry. For some reason I always presumed that the game could be balanced in such a manner that I'd have the ability to compete with even a terrible team; I had been wrong.
My very first aim was to redesign my group entirely, and that I invested a little time fiddling with cards that I had in my Club's roster. I read online that Pace was among the most important features, also because I was conceding a great deal of targets, I decided to select a 4-4-2 formation with two holding midfielders to give myself extra protection; I ended up with a squad that had the likes of Nathan Redmond and Danny Ings inside -- a fairly weak team overall, but much better than what I'd.
