The most rewarding part of NBA 2K is in the MyCareer route

The forthcoming release of NBA 2K21 on next generation consoles will be as more of an Game 7 feeling that a video game could bring to. They have the opportunity to silence most of their critics. Or they could slide and become meme'd into silence like they've been in each game since the release of 2K18. There's a very small margin for error, however there is great potential for success. This means I am excited, nervous, and excited to test it for the first time.
Since the release date is approaching 2K has released some games. The first thing we notice is "lightning quick loading times". At first, when I read that they were describing it as "lightning fast", I cringed because I thought they were getting themselves in trouble and it was... very fast?
From looking at New Orleans Pelican Zion Williamson, and Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry on "play now", we saw Curry prepping for his next bout with only the flick of our eyelids. 2KTV used to show videos before games began that was annoying, however, they did show some good videos. It's all great.
When we entered the building the stadium, we could witness a myriad of things in the background. The shows were pre-game and security guards monitoring the fans. Of course, there were players warming up. Then, we were greeted by a familiar yet new voice. Brian Anderson, from TNT.
