"Being the cover of Cheap NBA 2K22 MT can be a great way to inspire young female athletes and I'd love for future WNBA players to know that they are able to also be covered. It's a major moment in the story of the sport, as well as the video game. This historical cover illustrates the rise and popularity of women’s sport. I am honored to be part of the cover, and am very proud to be NBA 2K's first female player.
Parker is just 35 years old in her professional career. She has been named an WNBA MVP, six-time All-Star with a previous WNBA Finals MVP champion and a two-time Olympic gold medalist. Her cover art was completed with Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks. They also created a special cover to commemorate the 75th anniversary along with NBA legends Dirk Nowitzki, Kareem AbdulJabbar and Kevin Durant.

Candace Parker, a female basketball player is the first woman to appear on the cover of the NBA 2K game. The Chicago Sky (WNBA) athlete will be featured with Luka Don?i? who is the NBA's top player this season. The cover is part of a limited edition produced by GameStop, which commemorates the 25th anniversary of Women's National Basketball Association - WNBA. In addition to Parker, Dallas Mavericks' Luka Don?i? is also in the picture, replacing Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers) as the main face of the franchise.
