Players were introduced Franchise Mode's scenario engine few games ago, and it was not very loved by players. Some felt it was a way to provide players with "boosts", but could be employed as a tool to help them make important decisions that can result in negative consequences for their careers. If executed properly, scenarios that players will have to think about are something that is a wonderful feature. Instead of rewarding players with stat perks ensure that they are aware the choices they make will impact the course of the season. A player might choose to reduce his load, or to recover from an injury.
It is strange that defensive and offensive coordinators haven't been a primary topic of the game for quite a while. It would be awesome to have three incredible coaches on one team. Furthermore, Franchise Mode has a tendency to employ coaches who do not have any sort of involved in the league. It would be more pleasant to see random individuals get assignments as coordinators and, should they be successful, make them head coach position. It's more sensible than someone randomly selected to take over the franchise with no experience.
