Publisher Jagex has announced earlier in the year that RuneScape will go live in early access for mobile in the summer. As of today, everyone is able enjoy an ongoing MMORPG playing on iOS as well as Android.
RuneScape is available for free, however members have access to additional challenges, skills, and things. You can test the membership for free with an initial seven-day trial. Mobile versions allow cross-play and cross-progression with PC, so you can jump between platforms and carry on where you where you left off.
It's important to note that this will not be Old School RuneScape, a version that's based on a build from 2007. It's available on iOS and Android since 2018. It's the complete RuneScape that Jagex has been constantly in the last 20 years.
There's a huge demand for RuneScape for both iOS or Android. There are more than 1.8 million players pre-registered for those versions. They offer a mobile-friendly user experience which has been redesigned menus as well as icons, text, and textures. Combat mechanics were also tweaked for iOS along with Android.
