Woman's Day reported today that the Australian cricketer had been dating underwear model and aspiring TV presenter Kyly Boldy.The pair were reported to have been seen going to the movies at Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney.
But on Twitter today Pup denied these latest claims.
"Kyly and I are friends. Not boyfriend and girlfriend," he tweeted.
Clarke ended his two-year relationship with fiancee Lara Bingle in March shortly after she sold a tell-all interview to a women's magazine which published nude photographs of her taken in the shower.
The pictures were taken by former lover and Brisbane Lions footballer Brendan Fevola in 2006. Boldy has a long list of beauty queen and sports model titles to her name, including Australian Swimwear Model of the Year and Miss Ralph Snowbunny.
Boldy had also been seen relaxing with him at his famous $6 million Bondi Beach apartment, which is a change in pace to the high-profile relationship he had with Bingle.A fashion industry insider told Woman's Day that Boldy was a perfect fit for the Pup. "Kyly is a lovely girl, really down-to-earth," says the insider."She wouldn’t have gone looking for a high-profile man – they would have met by chance and just liked each other."When contacted by The Daily Telegraph today, Clarke's spokeswoman did not deny their relationship and when asked if they were dating, would only repeat the quote below."I can confirm Michael and Kyly are friends and have known each other since their school days."
